Wow, this is my second battle where I get to be the tie-breaker! The votes were completely split on this one: 8 votes for Arthur Louis and 8 votes for Ze Ramalho!
So I’m going to break the tie and give this battle to Arthur Louis. I liked his version better simply because it was different. Ze Ramalho sounded much like Bob Dylan’s version and I like a cover that does something different with the song.
This was a fun battle. Hope you all enjoyed. Thanks for your votes. Be sure to stop by on the 15th for another battle of the bands!

That’s another good match up to have such parity in the outcome. Nice job.

Thanks Lee. And thanks for being a part of it!

I LOVE it when that happens! I think I got to decide the winner (or cause a tie) with my own vote 3 or maybe 4 times. That’s fun when the outcome is riding on my own musical taste. In my opinion, nuttin’ in BOTB beats that!

yeah, breaking a tie is indeed fun! Thanks Stephen!
You know how to pick ’em, Michele 😀 That was fun and I’m looking forward to your next battle.
Thanks Debbie! <3
That is great! What a close one and you were the tie breaker.
Another good BOTB!!
Great battle
You chose your two contenders well. I shouldn’t have used Roberta Flack v. the Fugees. Roberta does the definitive version of every song she sings.
Love,
Janie
It was nice to hear some Roberta!!! I’m glad you chose her, Janie. I hadn’t heard her in so long so it was nice to be reacquainted with her music again.
Cool, I helped decide the winner. With close battles like this, it’s obvious every vote counts in our battles. Keep up the good work. 🙂
Thanks for your help Jeffrey! It’s fun when they’re this close.
